Our Story

Our journey as a local non-denominational church began almost 60 years ago with a group of individuals on a mission to be good news in Northern Kentucky…

In September of 1967, a small group gathered on Sunday mornings in an Elementary School in Crescent Springs and called themselves “Lakeside Christian Church.” Soon after, they acquired a little bit of land down the road on Buttermilk Pike to make room for all those who called Lakeside their home church. And since then, we’ve continued to keep growth at the forefront of who we are as a local church. The methods have changed from building campaigns and renovations to multiple campuses to becoming a church that plants other churches, but the message has never changed. We are a relentlessly dedicated church proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ. 

While Lakeside’s history is special to us, this summary doesn't capture all that God has been up to in our story. Marriages are being reconciled, addictions are being broken, the hungry are being fed, offenses are being forgiven, orphans are being welcomed into families, scars are being healed, significance and value are being restored, and souls are being redeemed. People are discovering what truly living means; Jesus IS who He said He was, and He will always be!
